What is Heaven like ?
If you are a follower of Jesus, you will want to read this book titled simply “Heaven” by Randy Alcorn. I borrowed my copy from Toa Payoh library and did not know what a gem it was then. I agree with some others who also read it that it is so challenging to live this life if we do not know what awaits us in Eternity. I am going to spend a few hundred dollars and buy my own stash, and then find reasons to give copies to my friends.

Borders down at Wheelock Place stocks a few copies at $45 I think. Alternatively order it online from the author’s website at US$14.
So, as you might have guessed, we started to talk to the kids about death and heaven. And this conversation started:
Natalie: When are you dying Mummy?
Mummy: Well, I suppose when God says it is time, I suppose … but it will be a happy thing, because I will be in Heaven.
Natalie: Happy for you. But sad for me. I always want you to be around.
Mummy: You don’t have to be sad. We are going to see each other again in Heaven. Remember to come look for me, ok ?
Natalie: Ok. But I am not sure how to look for you.
